Newark Fireworks
Tuesday, June 28th | 7:30PM
Fourth of July comes a little early in Newark. On June 28th, there will be a Fireworks Spectacular show that will follow a free concert, Lady Supreme: A Diana Ross Experience. This event will be held at Weequahic Park, Elizabeth and Meeker Avenues in Newark. Learn more here.
Cedar Grove Fireworks Display
Thursday, June 30th | 7PM – 10PM
Gates open for this Cedar Grove display at 7PM. There will be music and ice cream along with the fireworks, though there’s no food or camping chairs permitted on the turf. In case of bad weather, there’s a rain date of July 1st, 2022. This event will be held at Panther Park, 118 W. Bradford Avenue in Cedar Grove. Learn more here.
Verona Fireworks
Friday, July 1st | 7PM
There will be a DJ at this Verona event who will start playing at 7PM. Fireworks will follow at dusk, at around 9:15PM. In case of bad weather, there’s a rain date of Tuesday, July 5th. This event will be held at Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue in Verona. Learn more here.
Bloomfield/Montclair Fireworks
Friday, July 1st | 7:30PM
Brookdale Park will be the center of the action for this Montclair/Bloomfield 4th of July celebration. The Infernos free concert will be the warm-up act, followed by the pop and crackle of fireworks at dusk. This event will be held at Brookdale Park, Watchung + Bellevue Avenues. Learn more here.
Fair Lawn Fireworks
July 2nd
Fair Lawn will be hosting a fireworks show on Saturday, July 2nd at Memorial Park. This event opens at 6:45 PM and the fireworks will begin at 7PM. There will be vendors selling food + drinks, and visitors are invited to bring their own blankets and chairs. This event will be held at Memorial Park, 1st Street + Lambert Road in Fair Lawn. State Fair Meadowlands Fireworks
July 3rd + 4th
Though this event is officially running for a full 18 days from June 23rd – July 10th, there will only be fireworks on July 3rd and 4th. There will be food, drinks, games, and even free entertainment this year. The fireworks will take place after dark + will be viewable anywhere on the fairgrounds. This event will be held at Metlife Stadium, 1 Metlife Stadium Drive in East Rutherford. Learn more here.

Monday, July 4th
Everyone in the Montclair area is invited to gather at Montclair State University to watch fireworks on July 4th. The fireworks display will be in the evening. This event will be held at Yogi Berra Stadium at Montclair State University, 8 Yogi Berra Drive in Montclair. Learn more here.
West Orange Independence Day Celebration
Monday, July 4th
The day will be filled with fun events before the fireworks. There will be a Food Truck Festival with 12 varieties of food, including seafood, tacos, ice cream, and vegan options from 1PM – 9PM. A DJ will be playing from 2PM – 9PM, and the day will end with a fireworks display at dusk. This event will be held at West Orange High School, 51 Conforti Avenue in West Orange. Learn more here.
Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration
July 4th
Ridgewood will be hosting its 112th annual Fourth of July celebration. Gates open at 6PM, and there will be music, food trucks, and fireworks. Presale tickets are $12 for everybody or $16 for adults at the door. This event will be held at Veteran’s Field, North Maple Avenue in Ridgewood. Learn more here.
Livingston July 4th Celebration
Monday, July 4th | 9AM – 11PM
Livingston’s 4th of July celebration includes food trucks, arts, live music, and a car show. From 3:30PM – 4:30PM, there will be a performance by The Mountain Jam Band, an Allman Brothers Tribute. For some time, the Montclair Shared Housing Association is providing this opportunity while fostering a great community.
