Washington Avenue in Belleville will soon see Guys and Dolls re-entering the local scene. The new sports bar and pool hall first announced its plans to reopen in Essex County earlier this week via Instagram:

With a full kitchen, brand-new tables, and plenty of screens for the big game, stay tuned for our opening day. Coming soon to Belleville!”

Located at 524 Washington Avenue, Guys and Dolls was previously a local haunt for pool and drinks. Per a post in the Bloomfield Pulse Facebook group, residents first noticed that the spot was closed earlier this year. Comments on the post mentioned that the space was being renovated, which was confirmed via the Instagram posts from this week. Guys and Dolls was first established in 1963.
New additions to the space include a full kitchen, brand-new tables, and more TVs. Per its Instagram bio, there will be 16 Brunswick pool tables, eight seven-foot Diamonds pool tables, two heated Gabriels pool tables, and 21 TVs in addition to the kitchen and bar.
The Montclair Girl has reached out to Guys and Dolls and this post will be updated with any further information.
