The Ivy at Chatham

Les Saisons is a French, Victorian-era home that is surrounded by lush greenery and gardens, perfect for quaint walks and sunset viewings. Les Saisons translates to “the seasons” in French and represents the themes that can be found in each of the four standard rooms. There are also two suites that can accommodate a small group or family.

The house is filled with genuine antique furniture, decor, and oil paintings that transport guests to a different period of time; a true getaway. The delicious, complimentary breakfast is prepared by the hosts every morning and served in the spacious grand dining room. Located nearby lively downtown Maplewood, which is filled with dining and shopping, Les Saisons is also close to local parks, a golf course, and the Short Hills Mall.

The George | 37 North Mountain Avenue, Montclair

This private residence turned boutique hotel is owned by Montclair native and beauty icon Bobbi Brown in partnership with her husband Steven Plofker. The couple purchased the property in 2012, shortly after the building was designated as a historic landmark, and designed each of the 32 rooms to have a unique aesthetic.

In addition to being pet-friendly, rooms are equipped with furnishings and amenities from top brands like SMEG, Casper, Dyson, and Nespresso. The hotel is also situated within walking distance to Bloomfield Avenue shopping and restaurants, the Montclair Art Museum, and Van Vleck House and Gardens.
