Especially in a town like Montclair, restaurants have a flair for the creatives and that includes some of the specialty pies you can find in any pizzeria in town. Ah’ Pizz is a well-known pizza staple in NJ. With locations in Harrison and Wayne, as well as Montclair, the first pizzeria on our list is not only known for its wood-fired pizza, but for the elevated full Italian menu. You’re definitely going to want to go just for the pizza alone but we recommend trying the chicken marsala and penne vodka as well.

Just as the name says, the pizza at Bivio tastes as it came straight from Naples. This pizzeria greets you with a large wood-burning stove the second you walk in and while the pizza menu is limited, Bivio focuses on quality over quantity. Bivio also offers daily pizza specials for you to enjoy. It is currently open at 25% capacity and accepting reservations for indoor dining here

Brick + Dough | 110 Walnut Street

Brick + Dough’s impressive menu contains all kinds of wood-fired pizza and entrees. For pizza cravers, the barbeque and buffalo chicken pies are killer, and of course, you can’t go wrong with the standard Margherita. Brick + Dough currently only offers in-store pickup but you can place orders online ahead of time here

Da Vinci’s Brick Oven Pizza | 223 Bellevue Avenue

Da Vinci’s has it all from gourmet pizzas like chicken bacon ranch and the Italian inferno {mozzarella, sausage, bacon, hot peppers} to heroes and baked pasta dishes. On a nice day, grab a slice and sit at a table in the outdoor section, and with ColdStone conveniently located right next door, finish your pizza off with a cold scoop.

Enzo Pizzeria & Restaurant | 150 Valley Road

Enzo is a pizzeria that’s menu stretches far beyond just slices. At Enzo’s, you can satisfy all of your cravings with unique menu items such as grilled salmon, chicken Cardinale {topped with roasted peppers, asparagus, mozzarella, and prosciutto in a red sauce}, and Italian rice bowls to name a few.

In the heart of bustling downtown Montclair lies this wood-fired pizzeria and Italian restaurant. This is a true pizzeria, offering up vodka, burrata, and Margherita pies to name a few, as well as classic dishes such as chicken piccata, chicken Milanese, shrimp fra Diavolo, and more.

Leone’s | 19 South Park Street

Leone’s restaurant and pizzeria will give you all the Italian vibes. With a variety of soups, antipasto, salads, pasta, Italian dishes, and pizzas, this spot will not disappoint. Each week, Leone’s also offers weekly specials that can’t be beaten and for those with a sweet tooth, top off your pizza dinner with one of the desserts like limoncello mascarpone cake, mini cannolis, or toasted almond cream cake. 

Mr. Dino’s | 119 Watchung Avenue

Mr. Dino’s offers delicious food online, in-store, and even catered. For all of those gluten-free lovers, the shop offers any pizza as a gluten-free crust so patrons can choose from the menu of toppings without worry. If you’re looking for something new and different, be sure to check out the menu of specialty pizzas that include chicken cutlet parmigiana pizza, white pizza, and Dino’s special {pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, and onions}.

Panzano Pizzeria | 71 Walnut Street

This Walnut street spot is another classic pizzeria, serving up Montclair since 2012. Panzano serves up the best pizzas, especially the specialty pies that include eggplant parmigiana, chicken savoy, cheesesteak, and rigatoni vodka pizzas.

Soho Pizza + Grill | 540 Valley Road
