When we say shop small and local, we MEAN it. The Montclair Girl is teaming up with historic Lackawanna Station to launch our very first The Montclair Girl-curated Holiday Market — a festive, small-business-focused shopping experience happening right in the heart of town. With four market dates, 40+ thoughtfully selected vendors each day, and the charm of one of Montclair’s most iconic buildings, this is shaping up to be a must-visit December destination.
The best part? In partnership with Lackawanna Station, we’re gifting these spots to local artisans and small businesses completely complimentary for the holiday season!
When + Where
The Montclair Girl Holiday Market will pop up at Lackawanna Station (1 Lackawanna Plaza) on the following dates:
- Saturday, December 13th | 11AM–6PM
- Sunday, December 14th | 11AM–6PM
- Saturday, December 20th | 11AM–6PM
- Sunday, December 21st | 11AM–6PM
Each day will feature a rotating roster of about 40 curated vendors, hand-selected by the MG team for their quality, creativity, and local impact.
A Community-First Partnership
Through this new partnership between The Montclair Girl and Lackawanna Station, all participating vendors will receive a complimentary (yes, FREE – on us!!) placement at the market.

The goal: to uplift local talent and give artisans more visibility during the busiest shopping season of the year.
Supporting local has always been core to The Montclair Girl’s mission and its sister brands at The Local Girl, and this market brings that spirit directly into Montclair’s most historic indoor hub.
Space is limited, and vendors will be selected by The Montclair Girl team based on space, category and fit for the market. We wish we could accommodate everyone, but please apply as we have 80 vendor spots! Editor’s note: applications for vendors were due December 5th, and all selected vendors will be contacted by Friday, December 12th.

Shoppers can browse a wide mix of local artisans, makers, and small businesses, all offering unique gifts, handcrafted goods, gourmet bites, holiday treats, art, home décor, beauty products, and more. Because the market is fully curated, visitors can expect a boutique-style lineup: each vendor chosen to represent the best of our community’s creativity.

The historic terminal has become home to Montclair Flea, a weekly market that hosts hundreds of small businesses, food makers, and artists throughout the year, with thousands of visitors each weekend. With its high foot traffic, spacious layout, and architectural charm, the station has quickly grown into one of the area’s top spaces for community-driven shopping experiences. Throughout the month, the station has transformed into a festive marketplace for shopping and discovering new local businesses.
